Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliana Bruni.
Hi Juliana, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My name is Juliana Bruni, a native Brazilian, mother, surfer, traveler, nationally certified Holistic Health Practitioner, spa consultant, bodywork teacher, Wellness Therapist at Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa and yoga retreat leader/instructor at Gather studio in Encinitas. I currently live in Encinitas, California, small surf yoga and holistic community. I’ve always been fascinated in exploring new cultures and helping those most in need wherever I go.
I began practicing yoga and studying Holistic Health 25 years ago after losing my mother to breast cancer at age 36 and my dad to a heart attack at age 56. It was the darkest time of my life. I moved to California and immediately immersed myself in all the yoga I could find. This time in my life has inspired me to teach and study Holistic Health. While I was exploring yoga and holistic health in California, I traveled to the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil, Peru, and Ecuador, where I spent time with Shamans who taught me their healing knowledge. In 2017, I was rated as the number one Holistic Health Practitioner in San Diego.
I have dedicated my work to uplifting and empowering my clients and students by cultivating a safe space for true transformation as well as volunteering in orphanages and working with local communities when I travel internationally. Giving back to local communities and being able to help those who need it the most has always been my purpose in life- from volunteering in orphanages or simply helping communities to have clean drinking water after a natural disaster. There is so much going on around the globe at this time, but if each one of us does something, then we can help alleviate at least some suffering in the world.
